Biography
I am a two-time alum of the Soules College of Business: I earned my BBA in finance
with a minor in management in 2016 and my MBA in 2017. I earned my Ph.D. in management
from the University of North Texas. My research looks at the dark side of organizations
and managerial decision-making, delving into topics such as antisocial organizational
behaviors, misconduct, wrongdoing, scandals, and crisis management. I teach organizational
behavior to our graduate students. I thoroughly enjoy teaching my courses online but
when I do teach face-to-face, I utilize a hybrid, flipped instructional design to
maximize the value and impact of discussions and storytelling in the classroom. I
am married to my husband, Cody Kincaid, who is also a two-time alum of the Soules
College of Business. We have a sweet little boy named Cameron Slay, who we both adore
and view as our entire world. In my personal time, I am passionate about spending
as much time with my son and husband as I can. I enjoy maintaining physical fitness
by swimming daily right down the road at East Texas Aquatics. I find pleasure in experiencing
and photographing new sights, foods, and cultures so I frequently travel to new, foreign,
and exotic locations all around the world.
