The Division of Neurology conducts clinical trials and has an active group of researchers investigating conditions such as: Parkinson's Disease, Autonomic Disorders, Stroke and Functional Neurological Disorders.

Clinical Research

In collaboration with UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas:

• Functional neurological disorders: investigating novel therapies (Hypnosis)
• Autonomic onset Parkinson's Disease

 

Other:

• Stroke: CAPTIVA - double-blind, randomized trial to study medical management of patients with stroke in the territory of a severely stenosed, intracranial artery.
• Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease.
