Monthly Professional Development

In Collaboration with the Department of Medical Education

The Department of Medical Education will offer sessions on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. These will rotate between Journal Club* and Faculty Development workshops.  In-person participation is encouraged, but a Teams option will also be included.  More information will be posted as sessions are finalized.

*CME credits are not offered for Journal Club.

Career Development Seminars

In support of faculty looking to advance their careers in academia, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development will be hosting seminars to address the needs of faculty in planning for future advancement and promotion. 

Current Offerings and Dates 
  • Promotion & Tenure Cycle Training
    • Required trainings for approved candidates.
    • Held in December and January each year.  Dates will be posted when determined.
    • Invitations and access to virtual trainings will be sent to approved candidates.

Interfolio (Fac180) Trainings

The Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development will offer periodic training sessions for faculty on the process for entering and updating Fac180 Profiles and Activities.  This system will be required for faculty with academic roles and those seeking promotion.
