Curriculum
The Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at the University of Texas Tyler School of Medicine is a three-year program administered through The University of Texas ata Tyler School of Medicine and operated by the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The program is designed to be in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the ACGME and the ABIM to guarantee that all individuals completing the entire three-year program will be eligible for board certification in both pulmonary and critical care medicine. These clinical and research experiences will be supplemented by conferences and didactic lectures.
The fellowship program encompasses 30 months of clinical training and six months of training and time spent working on a research project or a quality improvement project.
The curriculum is composed of 30 months of clinical rotations. These rotations are performed at UT Health East Texas Midtown campus and UT Health East Texas North Campus.
