  • Interventional Nephrology: Hemodialysis vascular access procedures r if American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology certification is desired. Dialysis Ambulatory Surgical Center, Tyler.
  • Interventional Radiology/ Renal Radiology: Dialysis lines, dialysis access study and interventions, CT kidney biopsy, renal ultrasound, renogram, CT, MRI/MR): UTH Tyler.
  • Urology: UTH Tyler.
  • Palliative care: UTH Tyler.
  • Research: UTH Tyler (North campus).
  • Telehealth nephrology: CKC Tyler.
  • Renal pathology: UTSW Dallas.
  • Pediatric Nephrology: UTSW Dallas.
• Educational Activities: Didactics, Grand Rounds, QI and Research/Scholarly Activity

Didactics will comprise of the following:

• Introductory sessions three times a week in the first month of training (July).
• Weekly noon conference after the first month of training, four times a month (August to June): Nephrology topic teaching conference, Journal Club/Research conference, Clinical Pathologic conference (CPC).
• Monthly board review, one Friday of every month after the first month (August to June).
