Biography:

R. David Warters, MD, FASA, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the UT Tyler School of Medicine. Prior to moving to Tyler, Dr. Warters served as Chair of the department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Maine Medical Center, and Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. An anesthesiologist with over 25 years of clinical, research, and leadership experience, Dr. Warters leverages his broad industry knowledge to lead forward-thinking medical center operations, education, and scholarly activities focused on high-quality anesthesiology and perioperative care.
