Biography

Young Ran Lee, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP, BCIDP received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy in California and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, VA followed by a PGY2 Critical Care Residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center & North Texas VA Health System in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Fisch College of Pharmacy, she served on faculty at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy for 12 years. In addition, Dr. Lee managed pharmacotherapy of the critically ill patients at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas for 12 years. She also served as a pharmacy residency program director for 3.5 years and a preceptor of residency program for 12 years.

Dr. Lee is a Board Certified specialist in the Pharmacotherapy, Critical Care and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Lee is responsible for teaching students at the classroom and serves as a critical care pharmacy specialist. Primary teaching interests include critical care and infectious diseases. Dr. Lee’s research interests include various anticoagulation & infectious diseases managements and the optimal pharmacotherapy management in the obese.
