Sophomore Year Experience

Sophomore Year Experience

General Information

Sophomore Year Experience (SYE) programs seek to aid second year students in overcoming the “sophomore slump” by providing intentional programming and experiences to support their continued development. Sophomores will have the opportunity to engage in events designed to help improve their academic performance, uncover their leadership potential, identify a path to achieve their career and vocational goals, and recognize the keys to successful intra- and inter-personal relationships.

Sophomores are defined as students who have completed between 30 and 59 credit hours.

The Sophomore Year Experience program lasts the entirety of the second year, with various programs and events taking place in both the fall and spring semesters. Participants will track their progress in Patriots Engage and students who complete the Sophomore Year Experience path will be eligible for a variety of exciting prizes!
