The Golf Cart Parade is an opportunity for your group to have fun and showcase your school spirit as we kick off the Homecoming celebrations! The parade will take place during the Kick-Off Celebration on Wednesday, April 9. 

Important things to know:

• Anyone who plans to operate the golf cart MUST be certified to operate a golf cart by UT Tyler's University Police Department. We will be working with UPD to ensure that everyone is certified and will assign the training course to anyone who needs certification.
• Groups who are registered will be given the opportunity to decorate their assigned golf cart in the College of Business parking garage starting Monday, April 7.
• Groups will be responsible for providing their own decorations. The Department of Student Engagement will only provide the golf cart to each registered group.
• Final approval of decorations is required from the Department of Student Engagement before being allowed to participate in the Golf Cart Parade.

 

Alumni Mixer Tailgate

In addition to UT Tyler's Annual Crawfish Boil, there will be tailgating for UT Tyler groups. With so many Alumni coming back to campus for Homecoming, we encourage groups to register to tailgate. This is a great opportunity to connect with your Alumni, share your experiences at UT Tyler, and showcase how your group has grown to be what it is today!

Important things to know:

• The Alumni Mixer Tailgate will be in conjunction with the annual crawfish boil. The event will start at 1 PM.
• Any alcohol present in the designated tailgating area may not enter Irwin Field Ballpark. Any alcohol distributed inside Irwin Field Ballpark may not leave the ballpark gates.
• Please see UT Tyler's Tailgating Policy in the HOP 5.14.1 for policies and expectations of tailgating on UT Tyler's campus.
