Biography
Brittany Childs is the Executive Director of Community Partnerships at The University
of Texas at Tyler, focusing on connecting the community needs with University resources,
managing community relationships, and facilitating reciprocal partnerships. She has
over 15 years of higher education experience in various roles including Greek Life,
Student Engagement, Alumni Relations, and Community Engagement. Brittany is actively
involved in her community, serving on the City of Tyler Parks Board, a member of the
Women’s Fund of Smith County, a member of Leadership Tyler’s Catalyst 100. She is
a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tyler and a graduate of Leadership Tyler
Class 27. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, reading, and spending time with
her husband, Clint, and dog, Yogi.
