Brain Track Business Schools Scholarship
The BrainTrack Business Schools Scholarship runs two times a year, awarding $1000
for a best essay entry and $500 for the runner-up.
Gates Millennium Scholar
Approximately 1000 awards are given to minority students with financial need. The
awards are targeted for undergraduate study in all disciplines or graduate study in
mathematics, science, engineering, education, or library science. Applicants should
have outstanding academic qualifications, strong leadership potential, and demonstrate
a commitment to community service. Although a nomination by a professional educator
is required, students are encouraged to approach faculty or administrators if they
have interest in this award.
Department of Homeland Security Fellowship
These awards are intended for students interested in pursuing the basic science and
technology innovations that can be applied to the DHS mission. DHS realizes that the
country’s strong science and technology community provides a critical advantage in
the development and implementation of counter-terrorist measures. Areas of study include:
physical, biological, social and behavioral sciences including science policy, engineering,
mathematics, and computer science.
AAAS Mass Media Science & Engineering Fellowship
Increase your science communication skills as a science journalist. Fellows work for
10 weeks during the summer at mass media sites nationwide, including the Los Angeles
Times, Chicago Tribune and NPR. Fellows use their academic training in the sciences
as they research, write and report today's headlines, sharpening their ability to
communicate complex scientific and technical issues to the public.
