UT Tyler students are invited to participate in the 2014 Patriot Days April 14 – 19, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.

Patriot Days is the annual student appreciation week at UT Tyler that provides students the opportunity to enhance unity and school spirit with recreational games, contests, food, music and prizes.

The event begins with a crawfish boil lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 14 on the Harvey Lake deck.

Other activities throughout the week include:

• Live music featuring Mockingbird Sun

• Capture the Flag

• Movie and Comedy Nights

• Health and Fitness Expo

• University Center Celebration featuring photo booth, balloon and spray can artists, caricature drawings and food show

• Ice Cream Sundae Bar

• Patriot Tennis and Baseball Games

• Disc Golf Tournament
