Securing your social media accounts is one of the many things you can do to protect your private information and keep hackers out of your accounts.

• Update the security and privacy settings offered by each social networking site to ensure the strongest settings possible.

  • Instagram security settings
• Share your information with only people you know
• Keep your anti-virus software up to date
• Keep in mind that nothing is private on social media. If you don't want your mom or your boss reading it, don't post it!
