Biography

Dr. Reddy grew up in Tyler, Texas, and went to Chapel Hill High School. He went to Texas A&M University as a pre-med student, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2016. He then stayed at Texas A&M College of Medicine, spending the last three years of medical school in Austin, Texas, as part of the school’s Round Rock Campus. After obtaining his medical degree in 2020, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he completed his pediatric residency at UT Houston Health Science Center (McGovern Medical School). Upon completing his residency, he worked as an urgent care physician with Texas Children’s before moving back to Tyler to start his career as a general pediatrician at UT Fifth Street Clinic. Dr. Reddy is also employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine, where he serves as a TOPS (Teacher of Outstanding Physician Skills) Facilitator.

Dr. Reddy pursued a career in healthcare because it combines his love for science with his passion for teaching. He enjoys educating his patients and their families about their bodies daily. Building long-term relationships and "growing up" with his patients is something he genuinely cherishes. He was drawn to pediatrics for its warmth and soul. “It’s hard to be upset when surrounded by the laughter, awe, silliness, and curiosity of children. I love making a positive impact from a young age and instilling good habits in my patients and their families that will benefit them throughout their lives.” He also has a particular passion for adolescent medicine and is committed to being a positive influence on teenagers during this challenging time.
