Tara Propper
Biography
Tara Propper received her MFA in Creative Writing and PhD in English (with a concentration
in Rhetoric and Composition). She is currently an Assistant Professor of English in
the Department of Literature and Languages at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her
research emphasizes intersections between rhetorical scholarship, composition studies,
and creative writing. Her scholarly work considers how new media and collaborative
writing technologies shape our forms of public and creative address.
