Anthropology is a broad discipline that studies human conditions across time and space.
The minor can support a wide range of majors, including all social sciences, history,
English, mass communication and life sciences. The anthropology minor requires 18
hours of anthropology courses, 12 of which must be upper division. One upper division
course can be substituted by ENGL 3376: Contrastive Linguistics or ENGL 4376: The
Nature of Language.
