Philosophy Minor
DESCRIPTION
Philosophy is the study of life's ultimate questions, such as whether we have free will, whether objective moral values exist, and whether we will survive the death of our bodies. Areas of study within philosophy include metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, logic, and others. A typical philosophy class is highly interactive, emphasizing critical thinking and the consideration of many points of view. Common readings in a philosophy class include books by famous philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, Aquinas, Kant, and Kierkegaard.
