Money on Your P2 Card

There can be up to three different buckets of money on your P2 Card. Each bucket of money has restrictions as to where it can be used. Some of the funds lapse at the end of each semester and some are refundable.

Patriot Bucks

Patriot Bucks are funds that you can deposit onto your ID card for use all over campus. They give you the convenience of being able to make an instant deposit from the eAccounts mobile app, the p2 portal, or at either of our convenient kiosks.  Our Account Management Centers are located in the Library across from the circulation desk or on the second floor of the breezeway between the University Center and Stewart Hall Administration Building.  You can check your Patriot Bucks account balance or deposit Patriot Bucks through this device.  You can also log on to the P2 Portal and get a statement of your Patriot Bucks transactions or deposit Patriot Bucks onto your ID card. If you are no longer using the Patriot Bucks balance on your card, you may request a refund by emailing refunds@uttyler.edu from your Patriots email.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are only accepted at on-campus food locations and the C-Store. These funds lapse at the end of each semester if you do not spend them all. 

You can visit an Account Management Center located in the Library across from the circulation desk or on the second floor between the University Center and Administration Building. You can check your dining dollar account balance through this device. You can also log on to the P2 Portal and get statement of your dining dollars account.

Pharos Dollars

Pharos Dollars are automatically deposited onto your P2 card when you are enrolled. You are given $25 in Pharos Dollars in the Fall, Spring and Summer to be used for printing in the on-campus computer labs and in the library. Once you run out of Pharos Dollars, you must deposit Patriot Bucks in order to print. Pharos Dollars can't be replenished and lapse at the end of each term (Long, Summer I and Summer II considered one term).
