I loved coming together with other engineering majors to study and find ways to broaden our knowledge. I cherished my time as president of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. I am beyond grateful to Dr. (Andres) Garcia for ensuring that students had every resource to be successful. Professor Aws Al-Shalash was always encouraging and pushing me to new levels.

UT Tyler Women's Basketball Make NCAA DII Elite Eight — UT Tyler Women's Basketball has punched their ticket to the NCAA DII Elite Eight! They will travel to St. Joseph, Missouri, to take on No. 1 seeded Ashland on Monday night.

This past weekend UT Tyler and TJC students led the annual East Texas BIG Event in downtown Tyler! Students, faculty, staff and community volunteers helped revitalize the downtown square and city parks through various service jobs like painting and landscaping!
