Internal Policies

Deadlines

These are the required deadlines set by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) for all externally funded research. 

General

OSP requires a minimum 2 week notice for all proposals that are externally funded. This is especially important for any proposals that include a subaward, as the OSP will need to initiate a subaward process with the other institution. Please reach out to the Pre-Award Team or OSP at research@uttyler.edu to begin the proposal process. 

Cayuse

All Cayuse proposals are to be routed for review 7 days before the sponsor deadline.

Final drafts of budget, budget justification, and research strategy/summary must be uploaded into Cayuse before routing for review. The AOR (Authorized Organizational Representative) will not submit without approval in Cayuse complete.
