Biological Agent Reference Sheets (BARS) are reference sheets containing information on biological agents that may be in many different labs nation-wide. The information provides an overview of the agent itself, handling procedures, and decontamination and notification procedures.  The references includes: bacteria, virus, fungus, and insects.  This list is continually edited for updated content and accuracy.

The BARS contact is provided as a courtesy and is not intended as a sole source or guide in the evaluation or experimentation of Biological Agents, their proteins, nor to serve as medical guidance. Do not rely on the BARS content for diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
