Biography
Gwen Williams joined the UT Tyler University Advancement team in January 2014 and
is now the Director of Data Analytics and Integrity. She came to UT Tyler with 18-plus
years’ experience in the information technology (IT) area. While in that role, she
led the help desk and desktop support teams, performed system administration tasks,
handled reporting and budgeting for the team, standardized hardware/software, and
acted as the vendor liaison. At UT Tyler, her primary role includes managing the
gift processing team, database administration and maintenance, reporting, pulling
data as needed, and assisting other areas with their Advancement initiatives.
In her free time, she serves in a leadership position with a local Scouts BSA troop,
practices Tae Kwon Do, and spends time with family.
