How can I help?

As a Residence Coordinator, I oversee all operations of Patriot Village. I supervise Resident Assistants (RAs) as they work to connect individually with students as well as develop a sense of community within Patriot Village and the broader university community. I also assist with student conduct, conflict mediation, and hall policy.

Did you know?

Patriot Village is one of our communities directed toward the first-year living experience, housing almost 200 students. It has amenities including a volleyball court, a grill, and a beloved fish tank. Patriot Village was the first housing facility built by the university, and just celebrated its 20th birthday!

What I love about UT Tyler.

Coming from two large flagship institutions, I love how tightly knit the UT Tyler community is. Everyone works closely together, and higher administration is much more visible and approachable. I always remember when I first came here how surprised I was that my first meeting would be with the Dean of Students, when I had never even seen the Dean of Students before at my previous institutions.
