Biography

Jenny Pagan is a dedicated professional with a passion for public healthcare management. She obtained her Undergraduate Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Wingate University and is currently in the last semester of the Master's in Business Administration Program with a concentration in Public Healthcare Management at the same institution. Jenny's professional journey includes various roles in Residence Life, where she has gained valuable experience as a Desk Assistant, Housing Office Assistant, Resident Assistant, and Graduate Assistant Residence Director. Her commitment and expertise led her to the role of Residence Coordinator on the UT Tyler Housing & Residence Life Team. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Jenny enjoys spending her free time on various activities such as working on projects for her capstone class, going on walks with her dog, Kira, reading books, building Lego sets, and collecting vinyl stickers.

How Can I Help?

As a Residence Coordinator, my primary role is to promote a healthy and engaging living experience on campus. I supervise Resident Assistants (RAs), providing them with guidance, training, and support to foster a positive community. Additionally, I help address and mediate conflicts between residents, ensuring that issues are resolved fairly and effectively. I serve as a vital resource, offering support and directing residents to campus services as needed. My responsibilities also include managing administrative tasks such as maintaining records, conducting inspections, and overseeing hall policies. Furthermore, I am prepared to handle various emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.

It creates a peaceful environment that enhances our overall well-being.


One of the most rewarding parts of my role is the opportunity to engage with students both one-on-one and in group settings. Building personal connections with residents allows me to support their individual journeys while fostering a sense of community. Whether through informal chats or organized events, I love seeing students connect and grow together.
