Dean's Award For Outstanding Achievement
 
The Dean’s Award for Outstanding Achievement is one of the School’s highest honors and is presented to a UT Tyler School of Medicine full-time faculty member whose achievements exemplify the School’s mission. 
 
CRITERIA
 
This is an Associate or Senior level faculty member with at least ten years of prior service who:  
  • Demonstrates commitment to the profession and to the school's mission, vision and values. 
  • Demonstrates leadership, accomplishment and recognition in these areas of endeavor.  
  • Demonstrates outstanding reliability and cooperation.  
  • Encourage others to support and work towards the public good through innovative initiatives. 
  • Exemplifies outstanding conduct and exceeds expectations in the performance of duties over multiple years of service.  
  • Exemplifies the School of Medicine’s core values at a superior level, continually fostering pride within the School and the broader academic community.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must exceed an overall performance rating of "Exceeds Expectation" on his or her most recent faculty annual review. 
  • A faculty member previously recognized with a Dean's Award for Outstanding Achievement is not eligible to receive this award again. 

AWARD

Review and recommendations will be made by the Faculty Honors and Awards Committee, with final decision by the Dean. The recipient will receive a $1,000 monetary stipend and a commemorative award.  
 
 
Award will be presented at the Fall Faculty Assembly
