UT Tyler Fisch College of Pharmacy Ranked First in State for MPJE Pass Rates

The University of Texas at Tyler Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy ranked first within Texas for its 88.9% first-time Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination pass rate. Nationally, 121 pharmacy schools participated in the MPJE, yielding a 76% national average for first-time pass rates.

The college’s North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination first-time pass rate was 80%, the third highest in Texas. For two consecutive years, the Fisch College of Pharmacy has exceeded the national average for both the MPJE and the NAPLEX.

“This achievement reflects the quality of our program, the rigor of our curriculum and our commitment to preparing practice-ready pharmacists who are equipped to serve East Texas with excellence,” said Dr. Pamella Ochoa, interim dean of the Fisch College of Pharmacy. “I want to thank our diligent students and the committed faculty and staff who made this accomplishment possible.”
