See Where Innovation Takes You

Discover all the places innovation leads. Toward science. Toward mathematics. Or, toward expression through the written word.

At The University of Texas at Tyler’s College of Arts and Sciences, we’re a community of dreamers, creators and doers. We absorb new concepts in engaging, hands-on classroom environments and leave our impact through boundary-pushing scholarship crossing economics to social science to sustainability. We strive to see the world from a different perspective — from classroom discussions to faculty-led research projects and other co-curricular activities. Our students not only use this mindset to launch their careers or pursue graduate studies but to serve and grow the East Texas region and the world.

I pursued a degree in biology to prepare me for medical school, and fell in love with biological and medical sciences throughout my studies. Very quickly into college, my desire to become a physician was reaffirmed through not only my academics but also the shadowing and volunteering opportunities made available through the biology and pre-health professional departments at UT Tyler.
