Biography

Upon graduation from Texas A&M, Mr. Hill worked at Texas Tech before moving to the University of Southern Indiana from July 1998 to July 2002. During his time with the University of Southern Indiana, Mr. Hill served as the primary conduct officer for Housing and Residential Life. Mr. Hill then moved to Baylor University where he served as a Community Coordinator before moving to the University of Texas at Tyler.

While at UT Tyler, Mr. Hill served as Director of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs. He built the first Residence Life program at the institution, where he penned position descriptions, established budgets, and coordinated operational procedures. Mr. Hill briefly served as Interim Director of Student Life and Leadership prior to Ona Tolliver's appointment. Mr. Hill also helped establish and chair the University's first Behavior Intervention Team, which current operates as the CARE team.  Currently, Mr. Hill oversees the Office of Student Conduct.

When not working on conduct matters, Mr. Hill advises the Rolling Patriots Guild - the campus gaming club.  Mr. Hill and his wife, Tammy, have one son and in late 2022 were selected by a clowder of 3 cats to serve as their live-in staff.
