Transfer Students

Transfer In

• Students must request the transfer before their 60 day grace period ends. 
• Notify your international advisor at your current school that you plan to attend The University of Texas at Tyler.
  • The adviser will release your SEVIS record to UT Tyler.
    • UT Tyler SEVIS School Code: DAL214F00503000
    • Houston Engineering Center: DAL214F00503003
    • UT Health Science Center: DAL214F00503004
  • On this date, your SEVIS record will automatically transfer to UT Tyler. The release date is usually the last day of enrollment at your current school.
  • In terms of DSO name, you can put any of the international student advisors. 
• Upon admission to UT Tyler, you will need to submit the following:
  • Certification of Responsibility (CFR)
  • Bank statement
  • Personal or sponsor funds: Checking/savings account balance statement, credit card statement, scholarship award letter.
  • Sponsor Letter
  • Copy of Passport 

Transfer Out

If you are planning to leave UT Tyler to attend another U.S. Institution, you must complete the Transfer-Out Form and attach a copy of your admission letter of the institution you plan to attend. Students must request the transfer before their 60 day grace period ends.
