Office of International Programs

To be a student on an F-1 visa you must be admitted to or enrolled in a degree seeking program. For an F-1 student the program can be fully in-person or a hybrid program. A fully online program does not make a student eligible to receive the Form I-20 needed to apply for an F-1 visa.
