Biography

Dr. Dennis Jones joined The University of Texas at Tyler in Fall 2020 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology.
Dr. Jones is an experienced professional with 25+ years of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering experience. Dr. Jones is familiar with all aspects of the manufacturing process. Dr. Jones was employed for several years by the General Motors Corporation and the John Deere Company. Dr. Jones has worked with several business / industry partners through University consulting and private consulting.
Dr. Jones has several years of teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of industrial engineering, systems engineering, project management, technology, business, computer science, human factors engineering, ergonomics, safety, and technology implementation / management.
