Elisabeth Golden, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Texas
at Tyler. She completed her medical training, including neurology residency, neuromuscular
fellowship, and autonomic fellowship, at UT Southwestern, where she then served on
faculty before moving to Tyler. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as the
Associate Program Director of the new neurology residency at UT Tyler.
Her primary academic interest is autonomic education, which she pursues by giving
lectures through the American Autonomic Society (AAS), and serving as faculty of The
Residents Course, a mini fellowship in autonomic medicine co-sponsored by the AAS
and The Dysautonomia Project. Her clinical interests include Multiple System Atrophy,
amyloidosis, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, autonomic failure, and multidisciplinary
care for neuromuscular and autonomic patients.
