Dana Morris began her career as a field chemist and then became a project coordinator
for an environmental company in California. Since 2006, she has been involved in K-12
education teaching math and science, coaching STEM teachers, and developing and implementing
curriculum and professional development. She completed her Ph.D. degree in Curriculum
and Teaching with an emphasis in STEM Education at Baylor University in 2022. She
is currently working on two different research fields including PCK development and
university-based coaching for early-career science teachers and recruitment and retention
of middle and secondary physical science teachers.
