Biography

Jill Carter’s professional background includes over twenty-five years of experience working with learners of all ages, including emergent bilingual learners, both in the United States and Guatemala. She is has served in a variety of roles including first and second-grade teacher, reading interventionist, dyslexia interventionist, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Instructor to adults and children, ESOL teacher trainer/educator, and university professor. Dr. Carter is especially passionate about language and literacy instruction.
