Biography
While working on his degree at Texas A&M University, Danny started DCM Computing Services,
performing IT services around the Bryan/College Station area. After graduation, he
continued his computer science career programming military communications systems
with Rockwell Collins, banking systems with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and performing
automation in cutting edge silicon wafer production fabs at Texas Instruments. After
moving to East Texas, he restarted DCM Computing Services, later incorporating and
changing the name to Wizard Electronics, Inc. Now with two locations, Danny takes
care of the computing needs of small businesses and indiviuals throughout East Texas.
He has also stayed involved in the community, participating in programs such as Citizens
Assisting Plano Police, Plano Rotary, City of Plano Building Standards Comittee, and
the Jacksonville Kiwanis, where he has served as a Texas-Oklahoma Lt. Governor at
Key Club Regional Advisor. Uponseeing a lack of STEM opportunities in area schools,
he started the East Texas Robotics Club, a 501c3 educational non-profit, to teach
kids how to design, build, program, and compete with robots.
Teaching interests:
Mr. Morris's primary interest is in reachng students to teach the fundamentals of
programming and IT work with real-world prospective, to stir their interest in the
fields available before them. He really enjoys leading others in how to break down
problems to get the job done. His motto is "Teach others HOW to think, not what to
think."
