Students seeking to enroll in certain courses may require a permission number. Circumstances that require a student to seek a permission number are:

• Closed courses
• Courses that require consent
• Requisite overrides

Permission numbers are issued by each department for their courses. Typically Administrative Assistant or Advisors will have access to the permission numbers for their area.

Each permission number is good for only a single use.

Permission numbers must be entered while adding a course to your shopping cart. You cannot add a number to a course already in your shopping cart. Removing and re-adding the course may be necessary.
