Student Organizations

Find classmates who share the activities you love — or are eager to introduce you to a new passion. Participate in the Student Government Association and help the university identify the interests and ideas of its student body.

University Center

Dine, lounge, socialize or host an event in the University Center. The University Center is the to come study in a quiet area, have a meeting with your student group, join an event or just grab a bite to eat. The University Center is the place to engage with your fellow students, make memories and build relationships.

Greek Life

Join a fraternity or sorority to get involved on campus and develop your interpersonal skills through leadership, scholarship and service. “Going Greek” is a great way to form lifelong friendships.

Athletics and Recreation

UT Tyler has 17 intercollegiate NCAA Division II teams. Our programs produce motivated, strategic winners — both on and off the court or field.

Looking for ways to stay active on campus? The Recreational Sports program gives students the opportunity to participate on instructional, recreational and competitive sports teams. Our fitness center, located in the Herrington Patriot Center, is equipped with a heated pool, a walking/jogging track and racquetball courts for more casual pursuits.
