The Office of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the coordination of accreditation activities including reaffirmation of accreditation through SACSCOC as well as reporting substantive changes and select measures of student achievement data. Statement of Accreditation 

The University of Texas at Tyler is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The University of Texas at Tyler also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
