Undergraduate Admission

Admission to an undergraduate degree program at UT Tyler starts with application for admission to the University as a student. This is done via Apply Texas. Additional information about admission to the University is located at the Undergraduate Admissions page.

With two exceptions, no separate application is needed for admission to a baccalaureate degree program in the Department of Health and Kinesiology. Admission to one of the Health and Kinesiology degree programs is accomplished by declaring a major. The exceptions are the two professional tracks of the B.S.-Kinesiology Degree; both the athletic training option and the teacher certification option have application and admission policies and procedures beyond declaring the major. An academic advisor will provide more information about these applications.
