LAB MEMBER WINS SECOND PLACE AT 2024 NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK GRADUATE STUDENT ESSAY COMPETITION.

Priscillia Ihionkhan, a doctoral student in HEAL won second place in the UT Tyler graduate student essay competition during National Public Health Week with an essay “The Role of Clinical Psychology in Addressing Social Determinants of Health and Promoting Equity in East Texas”. The competition provides graduate students with an opportunity to reflect on and express how their degree field addresses health equity. This award was presented by the Mayor of Tyler, Don Warren.
