TExES Information

Welcome to the School of Education TExES Information section. The Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES) are the exams required as part of the teacher certification process. The School of Education is committed to providing students with resources and supports to assist them in passing required certification exams.

Note that Texas Administrative Code requires that all students in a teacher preparation program take six hours of TExES preparation outside of program coursework.
