Tyler Resident Featured in UT Tyler Art Exhibition

Public Reception with Artist Talk will be Dec. 5 at Fine Arts Complex Gallery
Artwork by Wendy Wang of Tyler, an undergraduate fine arts degree candidate at The
University of Texas at Tyler, is currently featured in a thesis exhibition at the
UT Tyler Fine Arts Complex Gallery.
The UT Tyler Department of Art and Art History will hold a public reception at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5, at the gallery. The show, “Hysteria,” continues through Friday,
Dec. 13.
A native of China, Wang is an oil painter who uses figurative imagery and vibrant
color palettes to capture female struggles.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.
