UT Tyler Announces First Cohort of Chi Epsilon Honor Society Members

Society recognizes outstanding excellence in civil engineering field

The University of Texas at Tyler recently inducted 17 members into the new College of Engineering Chi Epsilon Honor Society student chapter.

Founded in 1922, the national Chi Epsilon Honor Society is dedicated to recognizing and promoting excellence in the field of civil engineering by honoring students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, leadership and character. Chi Epsilon membership is typically by invitation-only to the top 15% of the junior or senior class. The society often facilitates networking opportunities, professional development and community service activities for its members.

GILMER – Emma Russell.

HENDERSON – Ernesto Colorado.

KAUFMAN – Michael Campbell and Erik Schneider.

KINGWOOD – Tyrus Krueger.

LONGVIEW – Esther Fajardo.

MARSHALL – Samuel Acuna.

QUEEN CITY – Adam Bowen.

SAVOY – Landon Nelson.

TYLER – Blake Banta, Ben Boardman, Samuel Gentry, James Golemon and Hannah McGinnis.

LOUISIANA – Nathan Selmer.

ZIMBABWE – Ralph Mangondoza.
