Dr. Andrea Cooley, medical director of simulation and director of clinical clerkships at The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine will present at the inaugural UT System AI Symposium in Health Care.
The symposium, hosted Thursday and Friday, May 30 – 31, at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, will bring together experts from across UT System to explore the emergence of AI as it begins to reshape biomedical research, health care and education.
“We are thrilled to see Dr. Cooley take a leading role at the AI Symposium,” said Dr. Brigham C. Willis, School of Medicine founding dean. “Her expertise in simulation and AI integration will provide critical insights into how we can leverage technology to improve health care delivery and education.”
In addition to serving on the organizing committee, Cooley is leading two sessions at the symposium: Equity by Design: A Blueprint for AI-Driven Healthcare Transformation and Leveraging AI to Facilitate Precision Education.
“This is an exciting time for UT Tyler as we collaborate with institutions and experts across the UT System,” said Cooley. “The AI Symposium presents a unique opportunity for us to share our advancements and learn from others in the field.”
