University Academy-Tyler campus ranked in top 500 high schools in Texas

The University of Texas at Tyler University Academy-Tyler campus is ranked in the top 500 Texas high schools, according to the 2024 US News and World Report “Best High Schools” list. The campus is among the top 40% of all national and metro-area schools named.

The publication examined schools’ performance on state-required tests, graduation rates and
college readiness programs.

“This prestigious recognition by US News and World Report is a tribute to the dedication of our
educators, the support of our community and the talents of our students,” said Dr. Jo Ann
Simmons, UA superintendent. “It reaffirms our commitment to academic excellence, innovation
and fostering a rich environment where every student can thrive.”
