Mineola Resident Named Outstanding Student Employee at UT Tyler

Nathan Witt of Mineola, a junior mass communication major at The University of Texas
at Tyler, was awarded a 2024 Leadership Award in recognition of outstanding service
as a UT Tyler student employee. He served the UT Tyler Department of Communication.
Winners must demonstrate initiative, encourage and inspire teamwork, and promote a
supportive work environment.
Witt was recognized earlier this month during the annual student employee luncheon.
Prior to the luncheon, student employee supervisors nominated student employees for
either a Leadership, Rising Star or Spirit Award.
With a mission to improve educational and health care outcomes for East Texas and
