League City Resident Named Outstanding Student Employee at UT Tyler

Caleb Allen of League City, a senior history major at The University of Texas at Tyler, was awarded a 2024 Rising Star Award in recognition of outstanding service as a UT Tyler student employee. He served UT Tyler admissions and the literature and languages department.

Winners must demonstrate a passion for their work, exemplify a strong work ethic and show
creativity and innovation.

Allen will graduate with a UT Tyler bachelor’s degree this spring and was recognized earlier this month during the annual student employee luncheon. Prior to the luncheon, faculty and staff supervisors nominated student employees for either a Leadership, Rising Star or Spirit Award.
