UT Tyler Celebrates Alumni During 2024 Homecoming

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold its 2024 homecoming March 18 – 23. Homecoming features weeklong festivities for students, faculty/staff, alumni and the Tyler community.

This year, UT Tyler will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its first freshman class. The finalists for the university’s 40 Under 40 Alumni Awards will also be recognized during a special event 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Javi’s in Tyler.

Homecoming 2024 events include:

Wednesday, March 20
• Homecoming Kick-Off 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. University Center

Friday, March 22
• 40 Under 40 Alumni Awards 5 – 9 p.m. Javi’s restaurant, 7212 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler
• Food Truck Rally and Hot Air Balloon Rides 6 – 8 p.m. Parking Lots 15 and 16

Saturday, March 23
• Freshman Class of ’98 25th Celebration 10 a.m. – Noon Soules College of Business
• Crawfish Boil: Noon – 2 p.m. Parking Lot 10
• Alumni Bash 6 – 10 p.m. UT Tyler Alumni House
