The University of Texas at Tyler announced that it recognized more than 1,300 graduates during Fall 2019 Commencement Dec. 13–14.
Chris Glenney, senior vice president and CEO of CHRISTUS Health Northeast Texas, delivered the commencement address for the Colleges of Nursing and Health Sciences, Arts and Sciences and Fisch College of Pharmacy on Friday, Dec. 13.
Brent Jasper, president of Jasper Ventures, delivered the commencement address for the Soules College of Business and Colleges of Engineering and Education and Psychology on Saturday, Dec. 14.
President Michael Tidwell gave remarks and conferred degrees. Jason Cooper, vice president of corporate development and real estate for Brookshire Grocery Co., and Ben Westlake, project manager for FA Peinado Construction, gave alumni association presentations.
