The one-hour production will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Braithwaite Recital Hall, under the direction of Dr. Sooah Park, UT Tyler opera and music theater director.

"'Arias & Duets''' will be geared towards children of all ages, but adults also will enjoy watching scenes from classic operas,'' said Maria Ogburn, opera assistant.

Comic scenes from well-known Italian operas, interspersed with English narration, will be featured, including "Don Giovanni,'' "The Magic Flute'' and "The Marriage of Figaro'' by Mozart, "La Rondine'' by Puccini, and "The Pirates of Penzance'' by Gilbert and Sullivan.
